Recommended!!!22 July 2019I installed this on my Balco i3 V2.1 (Wanhao i3 v2.1 rebadged) and i have been using it to print ABS and not had a single problem with it. The ABS sticks nicely while its hot and once the heat bed cools down the print just lifts off easily.
PrintBite is greatBy: Daniel Bird on 10 June 2019I have this running on my Balco i3 v2.1 (Wanhao i3 v2.1 rebadged) and have printed a lot of ABS parts on it, sooo much better than the fake buildtak that came with it and you get from eBay. Sticks very nicely and then releases perfectly once it cools down. No scrapper needed!
Works well for ABSBy: Clarence on 27 February 2019Firstly, make sure you read the instructions - don't clean with isopropyl alcohol as this will cause adhesion issues! This works great for ABS.
Some sort of dark magicBy: Martin on 26 November 2018I bought some a sheet of Printbite for one of my printers based on a recommendation. I often print challenging ABS prints, with a huge surface area, and very high likelihood of lifting corners. Almost every print with the Printbite has had the corners stay down, the finished surface looks great, and the prints just pop right off at around 70ºC. No signs of bubbles forming under the Printbite material (a common issue with high adhesion prints on thinner Printbed materials) The only minor niggles are that the Prusa Mk3 Printbite should be a smidgen deeper to fully cover the bed. It covers the printable area fine though. Works great for PETG, PLA, TPU and ABS (still to test other materials). Highly recommended. Would buy again (And I did. Now I run it on all my printers).
