More than just PLA+, Filaform Select V3 is the third revision of our PLA which offers even more strength and durability as well as anti-clogging technology. With a softening temperature of above 100C this is ideal for high temperature enclosures delivering reliability and quality every time!

Many popular 3D printers have been designed to print ABS well, however due to heat break design and the use of enclosures can suffer from heat creep when using PLA. A similar problem can be found with hot ends that have insufficient cooling or poor heat break design. Heat can slowly creep upwards causing PLA to soften and clog.

Enclosed printers are great for some materials, especially ABS, but heat can build up too much for PLA and again cause it to soften and clog. There’s not much point in having an enclosed printer with filtration if you must leave the lid or door open. What’s worse is that this doesn’t always happen quickly but can cause a print to fail mid-way through. Wasting material and valuable time.

The new Filaform select V3 is also now more durable and ductile, being almost impossible to break in filament form. This ductility carries over to the printed part, mimicking ABS in its ability to bend, instead of abruptly snapping or shattering. Filaform Select V3 has an initial softening temperature of over 100C which means it transitions quickly from solid to liquid, eliminating air printing due to heat break clogs.

Filaform Select V3 comes packaged in a vacuum-sealed bag with a clear spool so you can see at a glance exactly how much material is remaining.

Filaform Select PLA+ V3 3D Printer Filaments are extracted and purified from corn grain, they are 100% bio-degradable and FDA food safety approved.

This blue Filaform Select PLA+ V3 material has high rigidity, good glossiness and transparency and are suitable for printing larger models. Filaform Select blue PLA+ V3 offers toughness 2 times more than other PLA materials on the market, no wiredrawing problems, smoother print surfaces, no cracking problems, and low material shrinkage rates.
