Applications
Custom Tray Resin is designed to directly print custom impression trays for comprehensive restorative cases — including implants, dentures, crowns and bridges.
Consider Custom Tray Resin for:
- Custom impression trays for crown & bridge workflows
- Implant impressions and complex restorative cases
- Denture and comprehensive cases where tray fit and repeatability matter
Tip: For best results, design to dental tray guidelines (wall thickness, handle thickness, and retention features) and keep the intaglio surface facing away from the build platform.
Material Properties
*Note: Properties depend on validated post-processing. Follow manufacturer documentation for washing, drying, curing, and disinfection compatibility.
Workflow Overview
Custom Tray Resin uses a validated Print + Wash + Post-cure workflow. For biocompatibility compliance, use dedicated equipment (build platform and wash setup) that is not mixed with other resins.
- Print using the recommended preset for your printer and validated layer thickness.
- Wash in ≥99% IPA (e.g., 10 minutes in a validated wash unit) until clean.
- Air dry completely (at least 30 minutes).
- Post-cure using a validated cycle (e.g., 30 minutes at 60°C in Form Cure).
- Finish supports carefully and inspect for cracks before clinical use.
Compliance note: Do not exceed wash durations, and follow IFU/manufacturing guide instructions to maintain dimensional accuracy, biocompatibility, and long-term performance.
