FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is the difference between the Peopoly Magneto X and the X1E/X1C?
A: Both the Bambu Lab X1E and the Peopoly Magneto X are premium professional-grade printers. The Peopoly Magneto X features a larger build volume at 400x300x300 mm compared to the X1E’s 256x256x256 mm. Additionally, the Magneto X utilizes a magnetic linear motor system (MagXY) for the X and Y axes, achieving high precision and repeatability of 3 microns, whereas the X1E relies on traditional belt and pulley systems. While the X1E has an enclosed heated chamber, the Magneto X focuses on speed and accuracy, with a maximum print speed of 800 mm/s and a maximum travel speed of 1500 mm/s.
Q: What are the advantages of the Peopoly Magneto X’s linear motor system compared to traditional systems?
A: The MagXY magnetic linear motor system used in the Peopoly Magneto X eliminates the need for belts and pulleys, resulting in reduced friction and increased longevity of the components. This system offers high precision and repeatability, with an accuracy of 3 microns. Additionally, the linear motor system ensures faster print times, with the Magneto X capable of achieving print speeds of up to 800 mm/s, and travel speeds of up to 1500 mm/s. The absence of belts also means less maintenance and fewer mechanical failures.
The Magneto X also features a true closed-loop control system, allowing for real-time adjustments and corrections during the printing process, ensuring high-quality and accurate print outcomes.
Better performance with flexible materials is also achieved due to the reduced travel distance for the filament path and only one load/unload process, minimizing filament waste and improving print quality.
Q: Is the Peopoly Magneto X suitable for beginners?
A: The Peopoly Magneto X is designed with advanced features aimed at professionals and advanced users, such as the MagXY linear motor system and true closed-loop control. However, beginners with a strong interest in 3D printing and willingness to learn can still use the Magneto X, especially with proper guidance and training. 3D Printer Gear can provide training for staff or any buyers who are not experienced with 3D printing.
Q: Can I print ultra-high-temperature materials on the Peopoly Magneto X?
A: The Peopoly Magneto X has a maximum hot-end temperature of 300°C, which allows it to print a wide range of materials including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, and Nylon-Carbon Fiber. However, it falls short of the required temperature range for printing ultra-high-temperature materials like PEKK (340°C to 360°C) and PEI (355°C to 390°C). Therefore, it is not suitable for printing these materials.
