Bambu Lab Filament Track Switch (X2D Compatible)

The Bambu Lab Filament Track Switch is an upgrade that makes multi-colour and multi-material 3D printing much easier. It removes the need to manually swap filaments between AMS units and instead automatically routes filament to the correct nozzle based on your print job. This results in a smoother, faster, and more efficient printing workflow.

Overview

The Filament Track Switch simplifies filament handling by automatically directing filament from your AMS units to the correct extruder. Instead of manually reorganising spools, the system follows your slicer instructions and handles routing for you.

On dual-nozzle printers like the X2D, it also allows filament to be shared between the left and right hotends when using a single AMS. However, only one nozzle can be fed at a time in this setup.
