Bambu Lab PLA Pure

Bambu Lab PLA Pure is a food-contact PLA built from just five ingredients: polylactic acid, an acrylic toughening copolymer, colour pigment, EBS wax and talc. Every one of those ingredients is individually certified to EU 10/2011, the European regulation for plastics that touch food, rather than the filament being tested only as a finished spool.

It is also UL 2904 GREENGUARD certified for low particle and VOC emissions while printing, and EN 71-3 certified to the EU toy safety standard. That makes PLA Pure the filament to choose for toys, cookie cutters, kitchen tools, tableware for the kids' play kitchen and anything else that gets handled every day.

Fewer additives also means less residue in the nozzle and noticeably less stringing, with mechanical performance on par with Bambu PLA Basic. Each 1 kg spool carries an RFID tag, so the AMS identifies it and the printer loads the right profile automatically. It prints on the standard PLA Pure profile in Bambu Studio and works with every Bambu Lab printer, AMS unit, build plate and nozzle.

Available in Pure White, Absolute Black, Baby Blue, Milky Pink and Apricot. For finished parts that will touch food, use a fresh non-brass nozzle, skip the glue stick, rinse the part before use and keep it below 60°C.
