What's New in Gen 2

Prusa refreshed the whole CORE One lineup in August 2026. The CORE One+ (Gen 2) keeps everything that made the CORE One a benchmark enclosed printer and adds the community's most requested refinements, at the same price as the outgoing model.

• Integrated nozzle wiper cleans the nozzle before every job for reliable, tidy first layers
• New GT1.5 drive belts with a finer tooth pitch reduce repeating surface patterns for visibly smoother walls
• Redesigned heatbed mounting warms up faster, the separate "absorbing heat" wait is gone for materials printed with bed temps up to 85°C, so PLA and PETG jobs start minutes sooner
• Snap-on top panel comes off in seconds without tools for easier cleaning and maintenance
• More robust automatic top vent mechanism, opens for PLA and PETG, closes for high-temp materials
• Redesigned filament insertion point makes loading flexibles easy, plus a new bayonet-style spool holder that is drybox-ready
• Every firmware improvement from the CORE One's lifespan comes pre-installed

Smooth, Accurate, Fast

The rigid CoreXY motion system with Input Shaper and Phase Stepping keeps surfaces clean through rapid direction changes, while 360-degree part cooling handles steep overhangs without supports. The new GT1.5 belts noticeably reduce fine vertical artefacts, the difference is visible on glossy prints straight off the sheet.

Materials

Prints PLA, PETG and flexibles beautifully out of the box, while the heated chamber makes ABS, ASA, polycarbonate blends and nylon genuinely reliable. Add a hardened nozzle for carbon fibre composites, and the optional Advanced Filtration System (HEPA + active carbon) for heavy styrenic use in shared spaces.
