Overview

The Original Prusa SL1S SPEED is a desktop MSLA resin printer built around a 5.96 inch monochrome LCD and a high-output 405 nm UV light source, which is how it gets layer exposures down to 1.3 to 2.4 seconds and prints up to 80 mm of height an hour. Paired with the CW1S, which preheats resin, then washes, dries and UV-cures finished parts in one unit, it is a complete resin workflow from PrusaSlicer to a finished part. It ships fully assembled, runs a guided setup wizard, and connects over USB, Wi-Fi and LAN so the whole thing can be driven from a browser.

Materials

The SL1S SPEED prints standard 405 nm UV resins and is certified for a wide range of industry resins, including Prusament Resin and Henkel Loctite engineering grades, with castable and tough options among them. Third-party resins are handled through the printer's resin calibration feature. The bundled Model+ Color Kit is Prusament's low-odour, low-shrinkage Model+ resin in six colours, with a sample book of 44 mixed-colour formulas to work from.
