Metrology-grade scanning on a platform you can grow into
FreeScan Omni Lite shares its hardware foundation with the flagship FreeScan Omni: the same certified accuracy, the same edge computing module, the same fully wireless standalone operation. What changes is where you start. Omni Lite puts the certified scanning platform in your hands now and lets you add dedicated modules later, as the work demands them.
There is no laptop, no cable loom and no network dependency. Scanning and processing run entirely on the device, and detachable battery packs swap out mid-job so a long shift on the factory floor never stops for a recharge. Acceptance tested to VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3 and aligned with ISO 10360, it produces traceable results in the environment where the parts actually live.

Expand it when you need to
Omni Lite is built on the same scalable architecture as the full FreeScan Omni. Three dedicated modules can be added later, so the scanner grows with the work instead of being replaced by it.
On-Device Inspection
Built-in PTB-certified inspection software. Scan, mesh, inspect and report entirely on the scanner, with preset templates so frontline staff get consistent results every time.
Video Photogrammetry (VPG)
SHINING 3D's patented marker-free photogrammetry. Paired with a calibration rod it verifies markers in real time and tightens volumetric accuracy to 0.02 + 0.015 mm/m on large objects.
AI Feature Recognition
Intelligent boundary detection for fast, precise measurement of round holes, rectangular holes and slots, for higher quality data with less operator effort.
Modules are sold separately. If you need certified on-device inspection from day one, the FreeScan Omni ships as a complete scan-to-inspect configuration.
