The X1 Carbon is a fully enclosed printer with a hardened steel nozzle that can print exotic materials like carbon fibre filament. It also includes a Lidar sensor for bed levelling and error detection. On the other hand, the P1P is a barebones printer with no covers and a stainless steel nozzle. It has a textured PEI sheet for the print bed, a touchpoint auto bed levelling system, and no filtration system. While both printers have similar print quality and speed, the X1 Carbon is better suited for high-temperature and abrasive materials, while the P1P is more suitable for printing with PLA, PETG or TPU
