One side PET carbon fibre, one side textured PEI
This Dual Carbon Fibre & Textured PEI spring steel sheet is designed for use with the Prusa range of 3D printers.
This textured steel sheet is made of durable spring steel with a PEI powder coating on one side and a PET carbon fibre texture film on the other. The sheet has high-temperature resistance, with the PEI coating able to withstand temperatures up to 190℃ and the PET film able to withstand temperatures up to 100℃. It is compatible with a wide range of consumables, including PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, TPE, HIPS, PA-CF, and WOOD, and is easy to remove models from after printing.
The Dual Carbon Fibre & Textured PEI spring steel sheet has a number of features that make it perfect for 3D printing. It has a high elasticity and resistance to bending, making it durable and long-lasting. The carbon fibre surface produces a carbon-like finish on the bottom layer of your models and helps to prevent warping when printing with materials like ABS.
To ensure the best adhesion and performance, it is important to maintain a distance of 0.05-0.2mm between the levelling nozzle and the platform during the first layer of printing. The speed of the first layer should be set to 10-25mm/s, and the cooling fan should be turned off for the first 1-3 layers. If the adhesion we recommend using Filaform Bed Adhesive spray
It is recommended to remove the model only after it has cooled, as the printed part has strong adhesion and may cause the surface to fall off whilst the build plate is still warm. Never clean the Textured PEI Powder-coated spring steel sheet with acetone! Doing so will create microfractures in the PEI texture, which will make the surface deteriorate over time.
