SnapSwap™ 4-Toolhead System

 

Instead of purging one filament to load the next, the U1 simply changes toolheads. Each of the four extruders keeps its own filament loaded and ready, so colour changes take around 5 seconds and generate a fraction of the waste of single-nozzle multi-colour systems — up to 5× faster with up to 80% less purge waste. Steel-ball kinematic couplings lock each toolhead in with repeatable precision, tested over 1,000,000 swaps.

Fast, Precise CoreXY Motion

 

A rigid CoreXY platform with lightweight carbon-fibre X-axis rails keeps the U1 accurate at speed, while accelerometer-based input shaping and pressure advance keep surfaces clean through rapid direction changes.

Material Focus

Optimised out of the box for PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA and PCTG — ideal for multi-colour models, soluble supports and everyday functional parts. Adding the optional Top Cover extends support to ABS, ASA, PA, PC and PET, and with a hardened steel nozzle the U1 can also run carbon-fibre and glass-fibre reinforced polymers.
