Priority support

Priority access to the Formlabs support team for the length of your plan, via your registered email.

Express replacement

If your printer needs replacing after remote troubleshooting, Formlabs ships a new or refurbished unit of the same or better specification.

Covered from shipment

Coverage starts on the printer’s shipment date and runs for one year.

Renewable

Renew within 30 days of expiry, up to five years from the original shipment date.

How a replacement works

Step 1

Troubleshoot

Run the self-tests and share diagnostic logs with Formlabs support, or fit any customer-replaceable part they send.

Step 2

Replacement ships

If the printer still needs replacing, a replacement unit is sent and covered for the rest of your plan or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Step 3

Return the original

Send the original printer back with the RMA number within 30 days to avoid a retail invoice.

Good to know

Buy the plan with your Form Studio 1 so coverage lines up with your printer shipment. Plans bought later may need Formlabs to certify the printer first.
The plan sits on top of the standard one-year Formlabs warranty and the Formlabs Terms of Service.
Not covered: damage from shipping without removing the tank and cartridge, abuse, modifications, accidental damage, cosmetic damage and consumables such as resin tanks.
This is a service item, nothing is shipped. We register the plan against your printer serial number.
